Job Responsibilities:
- Verizon Telematics Release Management team guides IT efforts from application development through testing and into production, helping to focus resources on timely delivery of a feature or set of features that the business needs.
- They should act as a liaison between varying business units to promote smooth and timely delivery of software products or updates.
- They should help to identify, create and/or implement processes or products to efficiently manage the release of code.
- They should utilized to coordinate disparate source trees, projects, teams and components.
- Act as an application support engineer, they help troubleshoot problems with an application (although not typically at a code level) however they have basic understanding at the product level.
Qualifications:
- Engineer should have 1-2 years in the IT infrastructure customer support environment where he handled global customer’s calls, email and alerts.
- Engineer should have worked in the change management / release management in the IT infrastructure support.
- Engineer should possess very good communication in terms of listening, oral and written.
- Engineer should have hands on experience in coordinating crisis / conference calls.
- Engineer should have experience working in 24/7 environment.
